Year 1:
Subjects:
Theory: 1. Indian and western aesthetics
2. History of Indian art
Practical: (A) portrait painting (compulsory practical)
(B) landscape painting
or (either practical B or C)
(C) Graphics (collagraph, etching, Lino, woodcut)
Year 2:
Subjects:
Theory:
1. History and philosophy of modern art
2. Art in education and society
3. Study of painting from China, Japan and persia
4. Brief study of eastern and western aesthetics
5. Master artist of the world
6. Dissertation in lieu of paper
Practical:
(Any two):
1. A study from life (full figure)
2. Graphic (etching or Litho, Serigraph)
3. Composition
4. Submission of practical work
