There was once bill came in parliament regarding bridge course for MBBS after BDS.  But after huge face off by doctors,  govt took it back.
And after that there is no such official information on this till date.

Yes, one can do mbbs after bds , but he or she will have to still spend 5.5 years for mbbs and will have go to through the neet examination to get admission in medical colleges .

Now, Neet eligibility criteria says that to be eligible , in your 12th exam you must have passed individually in
Physics,
Chemistry,
Biology/Biotechnology
English
And you must have obtained a minimum of
50% marks taken together in PCB in your class 12th board examination if you belong to general category ; while it's only 40% aggregate in pcb for obc, sc and st categories .

So , if you fulfil the above  criteria of neet examination, then you are eligible for neet and can get into a medical college for your mbbs even after bds
