See if you have got CSE in LNMIIT and you are confused about choosing where to go, I would recommend that you stay in LNMIIT only. I had a friend in IIIT guwahati,  the campus life ,placement and growing infrastructure is all better at LNMIIT. At IIIT guwahati you wont have no cafes, bad connections network, social life is very poor as well. But last decision is yours so choose wisely.

As per your query of choosing between ECE of IIIT Guwahati and CSE of LNMIIT then in my opinion a IIIT is always better than any deemed university so if branch is not priority then you should go for ECE of IIIT Guwahati otherwise if you want CSE only then go for LNMIIT. I must also tell you that if you perform well in 1st year then you have an option of changing your branch so with this consideration you should consider for IIIT Guwahati as you can get CSE there with the option of branch change in 2nd year.

If you're really interested in Electronics then take ECE at IIIT Guwahati. IIIT Guwahati is a good college with decent placements. Most IT companies allow students from circuit branches to sit for placements.

If you're not interested in anything, then go with CSE at LNMIIT, It's also a good college.

IIIT Guwahati:

Companies like Microsoft, Wipro, Leadsquad visit the college for recruitment. Average package was around 5-6 lakhs.

LNMIIT:

Companies like Amazon, Samsung, Adobe,  Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Bosch Engg. visit the college for recruitment. The highest salary was Rs. 36 lakhs and around 94% of students got placed.

Overall, you can see better and more companies visit LNMIIT. So, I would suggest you to go with CSE at LNMIIT.
