Thiagarajar College of Engineering is a self-financing engineering college in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. It was established in the year 2009 by Thiagarajar Educational Trust. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various engineering disciplines. The campus is located at Madurai, Tamil Nadu on the banks of River Vaigai and has a sprawling area of about 50 acres (200,000 m2).
The institute started with an intake capacity of 60 students per annum for BTech courses only but later increased to 120 students due to demand from industry for admission into its MCA course.
BSc Biotechnology is a three-year full-time course that gives you the opportunity to study an area of science which has a strong link with industry and society. You will develop your knowledge, skills and understanding in areas such as biochemistry, biology, genetics, microbiology and molecular biology.
