Chemistry graduates who take GATE (CY), can get jobs in PSUs like ONGC, IOCL (Assistant Officer - Quality Control with minimum 2 years of experience), DRDO (Scientist Grade B), BARC (Scientist Grade B), MECL. You can also apply to Cabinet Secretariat for the post of Scientist.

Among the above PSUs, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation(ONGC) and Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) are Maharatna PSUs.
