Mahatma Gandhi Law College, Gwalior offers LLB (Hons), Five-years integrated BA LLB, BBA LLB and BCom LLB at the undergraduate level and offers LLM programme at the postgraduate level. Admissions to all these courses are made through the LAWCET and also through the Management Quota.
Candidates who have appeared for the LAWCET and have obtained a pass grade in LAWCET can seek admission to the LLB and integrated LLB programmes. For admission to the LLM programme, candidates are required to clear the LLM PGLCET.
Candidates who have obtained a minimum of 45% aggregate in the qualifying examination (40% aggregate for SC/ ST category candidates) can apply to appear for the LAWCET conducted by the State of Andhra Pradesh and for LLM, candidates must have a LLB degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
Admission through the Management Quota
Candidates who have not cleared the LAWCET or who have not appeared for it can seek the admission to the 3 year or 5 year LLB course and 2 years LLM course directly.
- For LLB, candidates must have an undergraduate degree with 50% marks
- For 5 Year Integrated degree, candidates must have passed the Class 12 examination with 50% marks
- For LLM, candidates must have a LLB degree with 50% marks
Mahatma Gandhi Law College also offers LLM course as distance education course. This degree of LLM will be conferred by Acharya Nagarjuna University.
