Mahatma Gandhi University , Kottayam is not a college, it is a university as indicated by its name , it is a state university and it is located in the Kottayam district of Kerala.

Mahatma Gandhi University has around 100 affiliated colleges. It is also popularly known as MG University or MGU, and it is ranked among the top 50 universities in India.
