Hi Kalpana,

The Counselling process of CLAT is mostly an automated process. Each year, the NLU consortium calls FIVE times the number of seats available in every category. Furthermore, the CLAT conducts five counseling rounds, and only those are called where subsequent vacancies arise for that category. Coming back to the present question, if a candidate has not been invited for round 1, they may wait for the subsequent four rounds, where vacancies could arise, and they may be called in. The student does not have to register for such subsequent rounds.
