Considering that you cleared 12th in the year 2015,assuming you were 17 yhen,in the year 2018 you will be 21 years old.

And yes,the minimum elgible age for Union Public Service Commission  is 21 years of age which is the examination for the recruitment of officers for the All India Administrative Civil Service.

The applicant has a maximum permissible age  of 32 years to appear for the exam which means candidates should not have been born earlier than 2and August 1987

For general category,6 attempts are allowed whereas for Other backward categrory are allowed 9 attempts till 35 years of age.

Schedule Tribe/Schedule Catergory  have unlimited attempts till age 37 years.

If you attempt for any paper of the civil services,the attempt is counted as one.However,if you fill the form and do not appear the exam,the attempt isn't counted.
