Dear aspirant
Your rank and category both depends on your admission purpose. All the ranks are divided on the bases of the category in which the candidates are belongs. In some colleges and Universities they accepts only localite students.

Looking at previous year cutoff and merit list of DDU you have a fair chance of getting admission. However, I might suggest stay till second/third round of counseling.
