Hello,

Hope you are doing great! Here's your answer!

At present, a person who wants to get enrolled as an advocate has to first clear Bar Council of India exam. Thereafter the person can enroll himself/ herself under any State Bar Council. Eligible persons are admitted as advocates on the rolls of the State Bar Councils

Once the registration is completed the candidate has to clear the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) . The exam is conducted by the Bar Council of India, and the candidate gets the certificate of practice upon clearing the exam. The test is conducted to assesses the basic analytical capabilities and knowledge of the law.

After the approval of an Application Form the Council will issue an Enrollment Number and an Identity Card confirming the members enrollment into the Bar.

The Advocate can then practice Law in Delhi.

Hope it will help!

Thank you!
