The Kishore vaigyanik protsahan Yojana or the KVPY examination is conducted for both SA as well as SX stream. The test is of 3 hour duration and it consists of questions from topics such as physics, chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.

The KVPY examination is a total of 2 Level Examination, and the candidates who get qualified in the first level get selected to appear in level 2 examinations.
