Hi Prashant, The first step towards success is to know your weaknesses and that you have realised. As you know exams like JEE are fiercely competitive so not only adequate preparation is required but also you have to outclass thousands of competitors to secure a good rank. It is never too late and yes, you have to be determined enough not to get distracted by a thing like a mobile. So, get started and focus well. Wish you Good Luck!
Greetings.
If it distracts you, you should strictly stop using mobile phones during any exam preparations. Take it as a challenge, and I believe when you challenge yourself, you do let it happen at any cost. JEE Mains exam is a tough one to crack, but proper only proper preparations, discipline and revision helps you to get good scores. You need to focus your aim, and set a time table for studying, during which switch off your phone. Start reading at early morning, when the mind is stress free and the adaption capacity of the mind is at the highest level. Use you phone after you complete you daily commitment towards your study.
I hope this helps!
The main thing is that you have to build your concentration level, then only you can stay focused on your goal. I would like to say that please limit the study time between 10 to 12 hours and please increase your concentration and speed of reading, understanding and solving the problems then you will not face any kind of difficulty. Please say to yourself that after studying 10 to 12 hours in a day, you can use your mobile, in this way you can easily concentrate on your goal.
For preparation of exam, the most important thing is your confidence after that you should know the whole syllabus and make your plan properly for learning new chapters, solving the numericals and revision. All three things should be the part of your preparation strategy in daily routine.
Your basics in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics should be very clear upto 12th std. You should read the NCERT books for basics. Then HC Verma for Physics, RD Sharma for Mathematics, OP Tendon for Physical & Inorganic Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry of "Arihant Publication" for detail or extra knowledge.
You should also try to solve the previous years question papers, this helps too much and you should also give the mock test to rectify yourself and build your confidence level.
