yes there is reservation for female candidates in UPsee exam.
reservations are as follows,
vertical reservations
Horizontal Reservation
Weightage To Candidates From Rural Areas Of U.P
Admission to Non-resident Indian (NRI) candidates in first year
Admission To Kashmiri Migrants In First Year
Admission to foreign nationals (FN) / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Children of Indian workers in Gulf countries(CIWGC)
Economically Weaker Meritorious Students
there is 30% seats are reserve for horizontal reservation where 20% seats are reserves for female candidates of utter pradesh.
