Dear Aspirant,

I personally would go on to recommend you to take admission in Netaji Subhas University of Technology instead of the Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology. While the former Institute is a government engineering college, the latter Institute is a private college. Not only the former college has greater intake of close to 1200, the latter Institute has an intake of almost half i.e. close to 650.

In terms of placement prospects as well, the government institute is much better than the private one. The average salary offered in Netaji Subhas University of Technology is close to 8 lakhs whereas in Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology, the average salary offered is close to 4.5 lakhs. In terms of package offered, that is some significant difference as a starting salary and allowances. Furthermore, Netaji Subhas University of Technology is also better ranked than the Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology.

The good aspect or perhaps the only good aspect one might clearly see for Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology is that the amount of fees charged. It charges only half the fees than what is charged by the Netaji Subhas University of Technology. In terms of other parameters, both colleges are kinda equal with not much difference in terms of facilities provided or in terms of infrastructure.

Hello student,

Maharaja surajmal Institute of Technology highest package offered here in 2019 was 13 lakhs per annum. Accenture company is a mass recruiter here. Other recruiting companies are Samsung, Infosys , urban clap, Hitachi consulting and many more. This tells that placement opportunities for computer science students are very good in this college.
Now talking about Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology, the highest package here in 2016 was 1.25 crore and average package is 9 lakhs per annum.  Here the recruiting companies are Google , Microsoft, IBM, Tata consultancy services, Oracle, Flipkart and many more. Here placement packages and opportunities are better as compared to MSIT.
Although there are core placement recruiters for electrical branch.

Here you can compare these two Institutes and get more clarification.
