NSUT:
- fees (B.Tech) - approx. 8.5 lacs
- placements - around 4-5 lacs per annum (avg. for CSE graduates)
- Good and active student body
- better infrastructure than MSIT
MSIT:
- Fees - approx. 4.6 lacs
- Placements - avg. 4 lacs per annum
- Decent faculty (as per current students)
- okay-ish infrastructure
generally, MSIT is considered to be better ranked that NSUT but both are pretty similar in terms of opportunities and such.

MSIT provides a lot of facilities to the students and staff. The classrooms are fitted with audio-video equipment. There are laboratories for each department for good practical learning. Indoor and outdoor sports facility is also available.
