Mam/sir, Should we have to do service after studies in government hospital for five years if we get admission through all India quota(mbbs)?

Hey Ramesh !

Nope, it's not at all mandatory to practice in a Government Hospital for 5 years after your MBBS Course gets over. As a part of the internship, you would have to work though.

Some colleges do send the students to rural areas as a part of the rural areas but the period is quite less, it would never extend till 5 years.

Most of them send the students for Com.Med. maximum for a period of 1 month.

You can assuringly prepare for your PG exams after the MBBS or even during the MBBS

Or you can even apply to other hospital as a job.
