hi drishti , you need to attend neet to be eligible for bvsc. and from last year trends,i would suggest that a score of 540 plus will be a safe bet, but it all comes down to your category and reservation as well. NEET 2018 Examination is most likely to be held on 10th May (Thursday) 2018 . NEET 2018 Application Form will be released in the month of January 2018.CBSE conducts NEET for admission across all medical colleges in india except aiims, and jipmer. The exam pattern is as follows:-
physics-45 questions each carrying 4 marks
chemistry-45 questions,each carrying 4 marks
and biology 90 questions each carrying 4 marks as well.hope this helps good luck
Hello Drishti
First of all, generally, admission to B.V.Sc. course isn't conducted through NEET UG, rather it is conducted through AIPVT (All India Pre Veterinary Test) exam conducted by VCI (Veterinary Council of India).
I think you are confused about this, because for 2017-2018 VCI declared that it will use the merit list of NEET UG to conduct admission to 15% of B.V.Sc. seats, which were earlier filled through AIPVT. It was done since due to some reasons, VCI was unable to conduct AIPVT. However, this trend may or may not continue in future. No official declaration regarding this year has been made by VCI yet.
Now, coming to your question, you may be able to get an idea as to how many marks are need for getting admission in B.V.Sc. through NEET UG through 2017 trends. The last rank from unreserved category to get admission in B.V.Sc. course was AIR 12,207 with marks equivalent to 545 (out of 720).
I hope it helps!
Thank You.
