The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda provides an integrated MSc course of 5 year duration at Dr. Vikram Sarabhai Institute of Cell & Molecular Biology.
The mode of admission to the same is an all India level entrance test conducted by the MS University, Baroda. The entrance exam will be conducted based on 11 th-12th standard syllabus with multiple choice questions along with negative marking.
Following is the eligibility criteria-
1. Candidates must have passed Gujarat H.S.C./CBSE/ICSE Examination (10+2) or equivalent Board examination from the Science stream with English as one of the subjects during the years 2017, 2018 or 2019.
2. A candidate who has passed an equivalent examination from any other examining body will have to obtain eligibility certificate from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (University Office. Opp. Food and Drugs Laboratory, Vadodara).
3. 50% marks for general category 45% for SEBC & 40% for SC/ST category in theory and practical pertaining to science (i.e. PCM/PCB/) (or equivalent grade) in Class XII (or equivalent) examination, from any recognized Board in India. Where only grade is available, a certificate from the Board specifying equivalent percentage marks will be required.
