National Institute of Technology (NIT), Silchar was established in 1967. NIT offers admission to various UG, PG and Ph.D. courses focusing on Engineering, Management and Humanities. Higher Secondary Examination qualified candidates will be eligible for admission in UG courses. A Bachelor's degree holder in relevant courses can apply for admission for PG courses. A Master’s degree in a relevant subject is the eligibility criteria for admission to the Ph.D. course.

Eligibility to take participation in admission procedure of NIT Silchar. NIT Silchar generates two cut off criteria, one is for home quota and another one is for other states, If you meet these criteria you will be eligible for the admission. Remember one thing that initial cutoff marks mean, this is the only first step to move in next round of counseling procedure of seat allotment. Here I'm sharing the cutoff criteria of NIT Silchar 2020.
For AIQ range is around 20-25k & for HSQ range is upto 60k
