Masses each one kg are placed at the vertices of an isosceles triangle ABC in which BC is equal to BC is equal to 5 cm and a b is equal to 8
Hello Aspirant,
The centre of mass of any type of triangle is situated at the centroid of mass of the triangle. In case of isosceles triangle centroid is located at 2/3 of the height of the triangle, from the vertex. In this case height of the triangle can be found out and it comes out to be 3cm. Using this height you can calculate the distance of centroid from point C = 2/3 (3) = 2. Hence, the answer is 2.
Good Luck !!!
