Correct Answer: (a)(iii) (b)(i) (c)(iv) (d) (ii)

Solution : The correct answer is (a)(iii) (b)(i) (c)(iv) (d)(ii).

Iodine is a mineral required for the formation of thyroid hormones. An iodine shortage can result in goitre or thyroid gland hypertrophy. Haemoglobin, a protein found in red blood cells that carries oxygen, is formed only with iron. Iron deficiency may be the cause of microcytic anaemia. Niacin, often known as vitamin B3, is a B vitamin that is necessary for numerous bodily processes. A possible aetiology of pellagra is a niacin shortage. Vitamin B12 is one B vitamin that is necessary for both the synthesis of red blood cells and brain function. Pernicious anaemia is the result of a vitamin B12 deficiency.
