see mathematics is really a very important subjects if you want to make career in science related fields which deals with physics and mathematics. if you want to do bsc in computer science or information technology then it is required to have mathematics in 10+2 leve;. if you want to pursue career in engineering then you need o have mathematics in 10+2 level, unless you will not eligible to get admission in any engineering stream let along software engineering or information technology.

as I should inform you that IT industry is a really challenging world and it has many application of mathematics. you may heard about data science which is based on the concept of probability, set theory and statistical concept. so study mathematics seriously if you are now in 10+2 level.
