Hey there
Maths is not compulsory for biotechnology. Biology will be okay if you are not interested in maths. Though if you take maths as a subject it will help you during your graduation as maths is required in the course.

Good luck
You can apply for BSc Biotechnology, which does not require maths. It is a 3 year course. But if you want to choose B.Tech in Biotechnology, then maths is important. Since in most of the engineering colleges admission is done on the basis of JEE Main rank, you need to have Mathematics. The basic eligibility criteria for JEE Main states that the candidates should have Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biology as their main subjects. In any B.Tech degree, you need to have maths. If you want to study biotechnology, you can do a BSc degree. It's equally good.
Hope this answer helps you.
Good luck!!
Yes to get into Bsc or even Biotech Biotechnology you need Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology all these subjects. The reason is you will surely have a basic version of Mathematics in both of these courses.
