Hey!
First year of Petroleum Engineering consists of mathematics, English, design thinking (vary from colleges), engineering graphics, physics, programming language and chemistry.
From 2nd year, students get to learn about the core subjects which include
Geology and geophysics
Production engineering- process equipment design, artificial lift, well performance, natural gas engineering
Drilling engineering- drilling operations, well engineering and directional drilling
Reservoirs engineering- fluid flow through porous media, rock and fluid properties, well testing, ehanced oil recovery, field development etc.
