NEET is the entrance examination for admission to MBBS,BDS, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India. If you belong to Maharashtra, Physiotherapy and Nursing courses also conduct admissions based on NEET score. In India, only MBBS, BDS, Ayruveda, Homeo, Siddha, Unani, Veterinary courses are called Medical courses. The rest of the courses like Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing. Rehabilitation therapy, Nursing fall under Para medical courses. And the Lab technician, Critical care technology, Anaesthsia assistant, Intensive care technologist, Pathology assistant, Radiology technician are all para medical courses. And then we have pharmacy courses, So truth be told, all Medical courses like MBBS, BDS, Ayruveda, Homeo, Siddha, Unani, Veterinary courses conduct admissions through NEET. And the above mentioned courses conduct admissions based on merit scored in the 12th or University or State level entrance examinations.
