For pursuing BAMS course in Government Ayurveda College, Trivandrum, you must firstly meet their eligibility criteria that they have specified for admission to their college. Their criteria includes the student to have passed their 10+2 with 50% in biology separately and 50% in physics, chemistry and mathematics all combined, separately. The candidates those are included in the rank list of the entrance examination which is conducted by the commission for entrance examination by the government of Kerala and also those students who have passed the HSE examination of BHSE, Kerela Government examinations.
The degree you want to pursue, which is the BAMS or Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences, covers the study of various topics that include physiology, modern anatomy, principles of medicine along with toxicology, pharmacology, forensic medicine, botany, ENT, principles of surgery, etc, along with Ayurvedic topics as part of your BAMS course.
The course includes a study of 5 and a half years of education along with at least one year of internship. Certain colleges may specify in their eligibility criteria for Sanskrit to be a subject in their 10+2 examination.
