As we go through the latest cut-off of 2020 then it shows that the closing rank for General category was 7041 for Biological Sciences and Bioengineering branch in IIT Kanpur. With regards to JEE-Advance 2021 if you secure your AIR in JEE-Advance under top 7000 then there are good chances for you to get IIT Kanpur.

Hi Aspirant,
Rank are a subject to change from year to year based on several factors.However you can get into IIT kanpur with minimum rank of 5000 and around in Civil Engineering and 3000 and for branches in Mechanical.Electrical etc.You can get this in second to third rounds.The cutoff is quite high for streams like CS,Aerospace at ranks going under 1000 for these.
