May we stay away from social media for that 1 year of preparation of neet Or should manage it ?
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
hello aspirant,
being a student who also gave NEET once, this question is very common and some students also invest in button Nokia phones for less hassle. It is quite a big misconception though that people who go off social media score the highest. It actually depends on your mindset and how you manage your time. I, although, did go off social media for quite some different reasons. I had peers who were active on social media and yet got good marks because they knew and understood how to divide their time.
At the end of the day, if you're diligent enough to focus and Pass NEET, not even social media can stop you. But if you think, it distracts you from studying efficiently for minimum 5hours, you need to rethink your decision.
Hope this helped. good luck for your future!
Hey dear, this question comez in every youngester's mind who is preparing for competitive exams. Look, distractions are everywhere, using social media on phone is not the only one, it depends on you how you avoid them. In some cases people stay away from these mobile phones and social media till they crack their exam, so it is thier will power that prevents them from distractions. But that dosen't mean you have to leave all these if you want to succeed, social media and mobile phones are the ones which can make your hard work into a smart work if utilised properly. So it depends on your wil power, how you want to chanalise it.
Dear Applicant,
It is much wiser to minimise the use of social media during neet preparation. I'm not saying to completely stop. Studying continuously can even affect you in a bad manner your mind has to be fresh and ready to receive the information you wish to store, if that's not the case its equivalent to studying nothing. Social media is very catchy and it draws attention very quick too it can be very distracting also no doubt. But if you can manage it well than use it otherwise stop. If its entirely trying to tempt you than please stop it as it's a bad distractions. Or you could come online once in a week or something like than not everyday. Cutting yourself off from the world is not always beneficial.
I hope this helps, all the very best.
