St. Xaveirs college is a good college for MBA.
The MBA course offered by XBS is a Two-Year Degree Programme. Four areas of specializations are offered Human Resource, Marketing, Finance and Systems and Operations. The entire course covers 22 obligatory management subjects (OMC), and 8 Specialized Subjects or Electives (SPL). Besides, there are four Additional Requirements (ARQ): a) Project Work, that has to be carried out between second and third Semesters b) Dissertation Paper, which has to be written during the III and IV Semesters; c) Comprehensive Viva, at the end of the course; d) Extra-Curricular Activities and Programmes.
Some of the companies that came for Internship opportunities are: Lutheran World Service, United Bank of India, State Bank of India, IIM Joka, IMRB, Neilson, Damodar Valley Corporation, Deloitte, CRY, Kantar, HDFC Bank, Indian Oil Corporation, Ruchi Soya , Exide, Ernst & Young, Bharat Heavy Electrical, Vardhaman Textiles, Axis Bank, SREI, Holiday Makers.
