- To be eligible for the CAT Exam, a candidate has to pass at least Bachelor's degree with at least 50% if he or she belongs to General Category while for candidates from the NC-OBC caste). For SC/ST and Differently Abled (DA) candidates, the percentage required is 45%.
- Those candidates who are in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for CAT 2019.
- Those who have completed their graduation and are waiting for the result to be announced, they will be eligible to apply for CAT 2019.
