Dear Bhavesh, you haven't mentioned which country's citizenship does your son hold. Few States give Institutional quota which means, if a Candidate has studied 11th and 12th in a particular State, he/she would be eligible for that State's quota of 85%. It is not the same rule for all the States though. It is not applicable for West Bengal. Few States demand either of the parents to be permanent residents of the State. So it totally depends on your son's citizenship.
