MCA vs Msc computer science and best college?

Hi ,

I think both are equally important , Its depends on you which stream you want to choose . I try to differential MCA and MSc in computer science in following points :

Syllabus : MSc CS syllabus is equipped with more theoretical subjects as compare to MCA. I personally feel that subjects in 1st year MCA is already covered if you are coming from BSc Computer Science or BCA background.

I think reason behind this is while applying MCA, eligibility is only you need to have 12th and Bachelor degree with Mathematics so It will be difficult for students who are coming from non technical background.

Duration : MSc CS is 2 years course while MCA is of 3 years.

Fees : I think fees for MSc CS is less as compare to MCA, When I was doing MCA yearly fee was between 50,000 to 60,000 of course it varies university to university and college to college.

Opportunities : There are equal opportunities for both MSc CS and MCA and after some experience level doesn't matter which degree you have with you only your experience & skills will count.

Above information I wrote on my personal experience , It may varies person to person.

Now come to your question , Which one is better ? MCA or MSc CS , so my answer is “Both are best”.
