The average salary for both the courses are approximately same(Rs. 3,50,000-4,50,000/annum). But for Physics you can attempt BARC examination which will avail you a lot more salary package as well as social prestige.
Also cracking exams like JAM will give you a entry to IIT and after your MSc you can sit for any campus placements & depending on your aptitude you can get a good job.
