1. Sri Dhanwantri Ayurvedic College, Chandigarh:

The College offers graduate and postgraduate courses in Ayurveda, with specializations in different fields, including anatomy, pathology, pharmacology, ENT, surgery, pediatrics, gynecology, obstetrics, physiology etc. During the course, the students are given practical training in their specialized Dabur Dhanwantri AyurvedicHospital.

2. Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore:

The University offers Ayurved Vachaspati and Ayurvedacharya courses with specializations in ENT, Gynecology, Obstetrics, Surgery, Medicine, Pharmacology and other related disciplines. You can also pursue an MD or MS program in this university. Admissions are made on the basis of a common entrance test that the university conducts annually.

3. Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar, Gujarat : Jointly managed by Gujarat government and Indian government, this university offers several courses in Ayurveda, including BAMS, D.Pharm. (Ayurveda), B.Pharm. (Ayurveda), M.Pharm. (Ayurveda), MD and Ph.D. The university conducts an entrance examination, based on which admissions are made into the courses.

4. J.B. Roy State Medical College, Kolkata: This is one of the oldest ayurvedic colleges in India, currently affiliated to the WB University of Health Sciences. The college offers BAMS, admission to which is made on the basis of WB Joint Entrance Exam. There are only 60 seats reserved for admission to the program.

5. Ayurvedic Medical College, Kolhapur: Affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, the college offers 5½ years undergraduate program in ayureda, which leads to Ayurvedacharya or BAMS after completion of the course. Any student who has passed 10+2 (science stream) with at least 55% marks can acquire one of the 60 seats for the program.

6. State Ayurvedic College of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh: Affiliated to the University of Lucknow, the college offers 5 ½ years BAMS program to the aspiring students. The government of Uttar Pradesh conducts a common entrance exam every year to fill in the 50 seats allotted for the program.

7. Shri Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur: Affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, this private college offers an undergraduate program in BAMS. To gain admission in the college, you should have passed 10+2 with Chemistry, Biology and Physics as major subjects. You can pursue a BAMS program, or may select a course with specialization in any of the 13 disciplines offered by the college.

8. Rishikul State College, Haridwar:

Affiliated to the HNB Garhwal University, the college offers BAMS or Ayurvedacharya and MD (Ayurveda). The students are given practical training in a 154 bed hospital adjacent to the college. Admission to the college is made on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the college.

9. Dayanand Ayurvedic College, Jalandhar: The college offers BAMS, with spec. in Physiology, Metaphysics, Human Anatomy, ENT, Gynecology, Medicine, Obstetrics, Pediatrics etc. Admissions PMET exam Punjab Univ.

10. Ashtang Ayurveda College, Indore: Affiliated to the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, the college has 40 seats for their BAMS program. Any student who has passed 10+2 (Science stream) with 50% marks can give an entrance test conducted by the college, based on which admissions are made into the course
