Dear leaner,

As per norms shalytantra in ayurveda is surgery with in practicals, one must have to seek ms rather than md for surgery

The only difference between md and ms is ms means masters in surgery and md means master in general medicine ,both are pg courses which is done after mbbs and related courses .

What exactly I wanted to say is There is no much options for md in ayurveda but seems like there is numerous colleges for ms in Maharashtra

Eligibility for shalytantra is bams with 4 years duration with half year of entry level position .and 55% marks from recognised board.

Some college like Bharati Vidyapeeth ,college of ayurveda provides md in shalytantra .

Check the link for the college in Maharashtra ,fee structure and other information.

All the best.
