Preparing for JEE Mains is a long, tedious process. Since you are in 10th right now, start by making sure you have a firm grip on mathematics, physics and chemistry. The basics that you learn this year will make the transit easy when you start learning more complex topics later.
Try to improve your mathematical skills and timing and make sure you understand all basic concepts thoroughly. 10th is a bit early to begin with the syllabus of JEE Mains but developing your basics is the best course of action to take.

Hi there,
Hope you are doing well.
Most of the people think that 10th class is a bit early to start preparing for JEE, but if you want a seat in IIT by heart then its never too early.
In class 10th maximum of your focus should be on boards, as they are very crucial.
But you can prepare for JEE on weekends and in holidays.
Start with Physics and Chemistry, you will find many topics that are related.
Just try to read and Understand them and practice NCERT, that would be more than enough if you do it sincerely.
