It is very difficult to get in any IIT, NIT or GFTI because the cut off for Mechanical Engineering for OBC-NCL is above 500 and above for the above mentioned institute.Your GATE score must be 500 or above to have decent chances of getting seat in IITs/NITs/GFTIs.You may have to appear next year and score well or you may get join in any private college which accepts GATE score.
