As you have mentioned that you have scored 24000 rank in COMEDK. With this score you can get admission in some the government colleges under COMEDK. Colleges under COMEDK would be better option as they are under state government. While LPU is a private university, it can not guarantee your placement in any branch. But it totally depends on you to decide which is the area of your interest. If you can workhard in area of your field then college doesn't matter.
