mechanical engineering rank cut-off is increasing year by year.so , placement is also decreasing or increasing.

Placement increasing, decreasing depends upon the particular recruiting company. If they have need or not. Also it depends upon the college you are studying. It doesn't depends upon the cut off. You see as society is moving towards more machines, it is hard to imagine mechanical engineer’s job prospects reduce in future. If recruiting company needs mechanical engineering they will give job . So it's not like it will decrease
