Dear Student,

Both the streams are very good for studies. Mechanical Engineering has core subjects of sciences and computer science engineering has the newer theories with different interesting thoughts. Computer Science Engineering takes less time as a degree than Mechanical Engineering to be establish. But having a position in a stream is depends on you, that how much ability you have in your subjects. The new society has many more opportunities in the field of Computer Science engineering than mechanical Engineering in India.

But if you want to go in the educational jobs then you can go for M.Tech and then for research also.

Thank You.

Hello,

Your question is bit ambiguous. If you are asking for more scope in long run then CSE will be the option.

Today, technology is improving to decrease man work and increase work efficiency. CSE is major part of automation. The basic concepts are used to do coding, form algorithms to solve complex real time questions.

ME has less scope and it takes so much time to reach to a stable position in ME domain. Either you will do MBA else have to struggle for government job.

If you can get CSE based on your score then you can choose it.

Hope it helps!
