Both these colleges are well equipped to give you all the best knowledge available on the subjects but you will have to do the studying and you will have to

- score really well in your batch

- do some great internships

- write research papers

- work on projects

- get recommendations

this all will only be possible if you are enthusiastic about your branch and have a clear vision of where you want to see yourself after say 10 years.

Do some research on what is there to study and discover in both Mech and ECE branches, what career prospects are available for them and how can you find the best job your yourself.
