Passed 10+2 from a recognized board with physics, chemistry, biology and english securing 50% aggregate, they are also required to meet the medical fitness criteria as in terms of X-Ray examination of Chest and USG (of abdomen & pelvis). The minimum height should not be less than 148 cm, however relaxation by 5cm for candidates belonging to Western Himalayan region, Eastern Himalayan region and Scheduled Tribes
