In the given numerical, 3,6,12,24,.. is we observe the trend then,

• 3
• 3 x 2 =6
• 6 x 2 =12
• 12 x 2 = 24

Hence, every successive number is the 2 x preceding number. Hence, the next numbers will be,

• 24 x 2 = 48
• 48 x 2 = 96
• 96 x 2 = 192
• 192 x 2 = 384

So, the series is, 3, 6, 12, 24, 48, 96, 192, 384,...

in this question the successive term in twice the previous term.

3 time 2 is 6

6 times 2 is 12

12 times 2 is 24 and therefore 24 times 2 will be 48.
