Biomass feedstocks include dedicated energy crops, agricultural crop residues, forestry residues, algae, wood processing residues, municipal waste, and wet waste.

Biomass sources for energy include: Wood and wood processing wastes—firewood, wood pellets, and wood chips, lumber and furniture mill sawdust and waste

Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing great. Biomass is a clean, renewable energy source. The energy comes from the sun, algae and the plants, biomass can regrow in a relatively short amount of time. Crops, municipal solid waste, tress are consistently available and can be managed. There are various sources for Biomass energy are wood and wood processing wastes, firewood, wood pellets, lumber mill saw dust and waste, black liquor, pulp, paper mills, wood chips etc.
