Generally cast certificate remains valid for the entire life so, you can use your cast certificate for your exam.

In most of states there is a validity of cast certificate for 3 years .

The Validity of cast certificate is also mentioned in on the certificate it self .

So you can also check by your self that what is the validity of  you cast certificate

and it is valid or not.

It doesn't matter, how old your caste certificate is. But, there is a mandate that, in case if you are from OBC, there is a mandatory clause, that you need to submit the OBC-NCL certificate, in case if it's not with you, you need to submit it after renewing it.
