The exam schedule for journalism programs varies based on the institution and the type of exam.

1. NCTJ (National Council for the Training of Journalists): The National Qualification in Journalism (NQJ) exams in 2024 are scheduled for:

   • March: 7th and 8th
   • July: 11th and 12th
   • November: 7th and 8th Enrollments open several months prior to each date.

2. IIMC (Indian Institute of Mass Communication): Admission to its postgraduate diploma courses, including journalism, is conducted through the CUET PG and IIMC entrance exams.
