Hello,
For NIT, there is no boys and girls quota. It is for the local or private colleges. NIT follows the guidelines given by NTA for counseling. They follow the rank cutoff given by the board. If you score to crack that rank barrier then you can get an admission. To get a secure position in the NIT where you want you have to score atleast 1500 -2000 rank.
It will be difficult to secure as JEE main is a hard paper but it won't be anymore if you practice hard and prepare the syllabus as per your strength and weakness.
