Hi Ayan,

For B.A. in English your 10+2 must have completed from a recognised board at the time of application form filling which most probably commence from the first week of June. The categorywise minimum aggregate is:

  • General: At least 75%
  • PD: At least 71%.
  • SC/ST: At least 56%.
  • BC-A/OBC-B/Kashmiri Migrants/Sports: At least 67%

A qualifying is also conducted and then final merit list is made. The weightage is as follows:

  • 50% weightage of marks obtained in English in H.S./Equivalent Examination
  • 50% weightage to the performance in a written admission test.

AYAN MODAK The marks which I had mentioned qualifies a student to apply for the course but in the final merit list if there is a candidate with 95% score vs 75% then obviously the former's candidature will be considered.
