Don't keep a bare minimum in your mind since just qualifying will not ensure that you get into some decent medical college whether it be via state or all India quota

you will have to try to score in excess of 550 if you want to get into one of the premium medical colleges across the different states availing the 15% all India quota and in excess of 500 if you want to get into DB decent medical college of your state where the 85% state quota and anything below it will lower your chances of getting into the good medical colleges and the lower you go the lower will be the quality and location of your medical college and also the number and availability of patients and the inferior most colleges might be the private medical colleges which might be charging you alot so accordingly keep your targets and is higher and try to score Higher to keep your cell secure and get into a good medical college

The cutoffs vary every year depending upon various factors like number of students appearing for the exam, difficulty of paper set, etc.

Cutoff for MBBS course in Government colleges are highest when compared to other courses. A student must score 550+ on 720 (for general category) ( ESTIMATION ) in NEET to get MBBS in government college.
